Nashville is home. Sharing hyperlocal stories of our community strengthens the roots of this place. Starting with the feature length, “Nashville 2012”, to ongoing partnerships with local nonprofits, we continue to dig deeper.

Produced by Common and Oprah Winfrey, Justice, USA shows the ins and outs of the criminal justice system in Nashville. Our local production team helped this national series keep its authenticity and nuance. The series is now streaming on HBO Max.

Grief Camp is a meditative film about death and loss as seen through the eyes of children at Alive Hospice's camp at YMCA Widjiwagan. This fragmented portrait laments, but also marvels at the mystery of being… especially being with each other.

Winning a Mid-South Emmy, this is a behind the scenes look at the creation of Metro Nashville Public School's new anthem, Every Student Known.

In June 2021, the Nashville Public Education Foundation premiered the documentary By Design: The Shaping of Nashville's Public Schools to educate community members and policymakers and to support collective conversations on ways to ensure all students thrive in school. Now in the archives of the Tennessee State Museum, various nonprofit and educators have used the film as a resource.
