|ABOUT The Moving Picture Boys|
Sean Clark and Jace Freeman are verite documentary filmmakers passionately telling character-driven stories in the American South. In 2010, they formed The Moving Picture Boys following a successful collaboration in Haiti. To date, their work ranges from award-winning independently produced feature documentaries (Nashville 2012, The Ballad of Shovels and Rope) to nonprofit and commercial projects.
Their innovative news series, Nashville Docujournal, blends cinema and journalism through timely dissemination of beautifully captured narratives that go beyond the headlines of the day. The series has gained recognition in the Nashville community and abroad, and exhibited as part of The Smithsonian “The Way We Worked” exhibit in 2015.
The Moving Picture Boys are currently in pre-production on their 3rd feature length documentary, and eager for new opportunities to tell authentic human stories with empathy and integrity in 2016. [CONTACT]
